Engaging Our Hands | Engaging Our Minds | Engaging Our Hearts

Student Council The Gesu Student Council is composed of student representatives from grades 5 - 8. These students meet weekly with their faculty advisors to plan activities and projects throughout the school year. This group provides valuable leadership to the entire Gesu community. They represent us proudly and provide valuable ideas and insights into student life at Gesu.

GESU TV 4
Broadcast Team

These students greet the Gesu School family each day with a live TV broadcast produced in the Gesu Communications Center.  The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade tech and talent crews' duties include directing, staging, reporting, writing, taping and editing.  All grades are represented with special appearances to share projects, PTO events, and sports and academic achievements.  Each week homerooms lead the school in the "Pledge of Allegiance" on the morning broadcast.

Thanks to the Gesu PTO,
the McGinty Family Foundation,
and the Ohio SchoolNet Telecommunity Grant
program for their financial support.

LEGO at Lunch Bunch This activity is open to students in grades 4,5,6 during noon recess on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  Creativity abounds as they collaborate on interesting projects and test out their ideas.

Scouting Gesu has scouting troops for boys and girls from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Most groups have weekly meetings which provide scouts with a variety of activities and projects that will help them to learn to make friends, work cooperatively, and develop a sense of their role as contributing members in their parish and community.

Yearbook Each year Gesu junior high students help to publish a school yearbook which highlights their activities and achievements for the year. Many hours of hard work and much laughter and fun go into the production of this Gesu tradition!

2:45 Club 2:45 Club is Gesu's after school program for students in Grades K - 6. Students enjoy a nightly snack and then participate in a supervised study period as well as a variety of enrichment activities in a safe and stimulating environment.
