Junior high students from Gesu's Student Council played Santa's elves again this year as they filled five cars and vans with hundreds of school supplies, books, games, and goodies brought by Gesu students for the annual Christmas Sharing project.  The caravan headed to nearby Archbishop Lyke School, a school that has two different campuses. We learned that the St. Henry campus of the school houses students from grades K-4.   We enjoyed seeing their beautiful school, meeting their teachers and principal.   The students there were lots of fun and they made us happy to be with them.

Thanks to the teachers and parents who went along on this trip.  Everyone agreed that Christmas was brighter because of the time they spent helping with this holiday project that has become an important Gesu tradition.

7th and 8th graders also purchased many fast food gift certificates that were given to agencies that help people who are hungry and homeless and they created gift bags of winter accessories that were dispersed to the clients at St. Pat's Hunger Center.
