Eighth grade Social Studies is a survey of American History with particular emphasis on government and current issues. We begin with a unit on the American Revolution and then move quickly into the early formation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We will do an intense study of the setup of the branches and levels of government as they exist today and then learn about the major events which occurred during each presidency.
