Welcome to a new school year. The opening theme this year will be "The Year of the Dog". The art lessons will center around the St. Clair Superior Chinese dog sculptures.

Students will be working in various media throughout August and September to create their own versions of dogs in art. Drawing skills will be our main focus. Classes will also be working with color photos, tracing paper, tooling foil, aluminum foil, and paint. Check back later in September for a photo gallery of the art work!
If you have the time, be sure to visit the St. Clair Superior area, so that you and your child can share the beauty and whimsy of the Year of the Dog sculptures.
