Happy Birthday Jesus!
We have been preparing for Christmas and the coming of Jesus. The Kindergartners have had the opportunity to meet with their Sixth Grade buddies and received an Advent Chain to help count down the days until Jesus' birthday! We are discussing ways in which the children can prepare their hearts for Christmas.
The students have worked hard on learning to read this poem to help them prepare for Christmas.

is a
time of
giving
For every girl and boy.
We learn to care,
We learn to share,
And giving brings us joy!
This month we have been focusing on letters Cc and short Ee . Ask your child to find things around the house that begin with these letters!
Students made sheep to correspond with our Religion chapter, "Shepherds are Good." Students discussed how Jesus is our Good Shepherd and calls us each of us by name.
" The Lord is My Shepherd: I shall not want."
