The Gesu Library is a fully automated facility that serves the needs of both students and staff. The library’s collection of nearly 14,000 volumes of print and e-books, supplement the curriculum and meet the reference and reading interests of our students.

Our library software, Destiny, allows student access to the Gesu Library Catalog from the classroom and from home. This gives students the ability to download ebooks to a home device, post a book review, or recommend a book to a friend.

Grades K-5 participate in a rotating library period during which students are instructed in library skills and introduced to a variety of books and authors. Students in Grades 6 through 8 have open access to the library throughout the day. Students are welcome to check out books anytime. They don’t need to wait for library day!

The library is staffed by Miss Angela Aquila, who functions as both librarian and tech support for students, as well as a large group of dedicated parent volunteers who assist in the circulation of over 3,000 items per month.
