The Father Robert J. McAuley, S.J. Scholarship Fund offers financial assistance for a Gesu School education to children in grades kindergarten through six, attending Gesu School whose needs warrant full or partial grants. Seventh and eighth grade students will need to apply for the Fr. Francis T. Dietz, S.J. Scholarship.
Candidates need to be registered members of Gesu Parish and must be attending or planning to attend Gesu School this fall. The family must prove financial need by completing the standard application form. They must demonstrate the desire for a Gesu School education and intent to apply themselves to the best of their abilities to the school’s scholastic and moral principles.
Application forms are available at the Madonna della Strada Pastoral Center during normal business hours. Previous applicants who wish continued assistance must reapply by completing the current application form. All applications must contain the parent’s last year tax return and the most recent report card for those children entering second through sixth grade. If you are applying for aid for more than one child, please fill out the “Additional Child Form” for each student and attach to the application.
Candidates cannot be considered for aid unless the above procedure is followed and the application form is totally complete. Deadline for filing applications for the 2011/2012 school year is June 30th. Please return your applications to Fr. Snow at the Pastoral Center.
Anyone wishing to make contributions to ensure the continued success of this program may send them, payable to the Fr. Robert J. McAuley, S.J. Scholarship Fund, to Fr. Lorn J. Snow, S.J., c/o Gesu Parish Office, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights, Ohio 44118.
