Full Funding

Optional Full Funding Program

What is Full Funding? It is the difference between what parents pay in tuition vs. what the actual cost is to educate each child. That difference for the 2011-12 school year is $1,260 per student. This makes up the excess costs over tuition. Parents who participate in the full funding program pay this amount in addition to their tuition.

What are we asking of parents? We are asking that if parents are able to pay the true cost of educating their child(ren), that they will do so. By paying the true cost of education, this enables Gesu Parish to decrease the amount that it subsidizes the cost of the school operation.  It also ensures that we continue to have resources to attract and retain the highest quality educators.

This commitment to Full Funding can provide benefits to parents, both in the form of a tax-deductible gift, and to the parish community by providing operating dollars to help educate their child(ren). A commitment to Full Funding will also allow Gesu Church to allocate a greater percentage of the contributions received to further its mission in areas of the greatest need. By working together, we can continue to provide a top-notch Catholic education and carry out the mission of the Parish in our community.

The Church subsidizes the school considerably each year. Along with the Full Funding program we can continue to meet our budget goals, without jeopardizing important programs for Gesu School. As costs continue to increase, we continue to strive to keep tuition affordable while remaining competitive in faculty salaries and program costs, all critical to the development of our students.
