Kindergarten applications for the upcoming school year are available at the Kindergarten Information Night in January and thereafter from the school office.

Tours: Tours of the school are available throughout the school year and are scheduled on an individual basis.  Parents should contact the Admissions Director at (216) 932-0620, ext. 134 or at jherbert@gesu.com to schedule a tour.

Testing: All students in grades one through eight are screened in Math and Reading prior to admission.  Screenings take place at Gesu School and are administered by a member of our faculty.

All Kindergarten applicants are screened as part of their admission process.  These screenings usually take place in March.

Student Visits: Students applying for admission to grades three through eight usually spend a “shadow day” at Gesu School on the day of their screening.   These visits allow the students to experience the academic, religious, athletic, and social aspects of a day at Gesu School.

Acceptance: Parents are notified of the status of their child’s application following the evaluation of all submitted materials and the results of the screening. 

Registration fees: Upon acceptance of their child, parents receive a packet of registration materials that must be completed and submitted to the school office.  Copies of the child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if not baptized at Gesu Church in University Heights), and immunization record must be included with the registration materials.  In addition, a registration fee of $100.00 must be submitted.  Please note that registration fees are not refundable.

Tuition payments: Gesu School offers two options for payment of tuition:  a monthly plan that begins on July 1^st and ends on April 1^st (ten monthly payments) and a quarterly plan with payments due on July 1^st, October 1^st, January 1^st, and April 1^st.  Questions regarding tuition payments should be referred to the Tuition Director at (216) 932-0620, ext. 134 or at jherbert@gesu.com.
