Gesu School is a Catholic elementary school providing a quality Catholic education to children of families who are registered members of Gesu parish. Non-parishioners and non-Catholics will be considered for admission if space permits.
Families moving into Gesu Parish are encouraged to register in the Madonna della Strada Pastoral Center as soon as they move to our neighborhood. Families who would like to tour the school or get more information can call the Admissions Director at 216.932.0620 XT 134 or email jherbert@gesu.com. We are including the two forms you will need at the bottom of this page.
Your application for Gesu School will be considered on the basis of the following guidelines:
1. Parishioners: i.e., children of families who are registered in, attend and contribute to Gesu Parish. (In cases with the same application date, parishioner priority will be based on date of Gesu Parish registration.)
2. Catholics from parishes without an elementary school: i.e., non-parishioners who are registered in, attend and contribute to a parish without an elementary school.
3. Catholics from parishes with an elementary school: i.e., non-parishioners who are registered in, attend and contribute to a parish with an elementary school with the specific written permission of the pastor.
4. Non-Catholics: i.e., children of families of other faiths who desire a Catholic education.
Parents of children currently enrolled in grades K-7:
- Please have your child’s current school complete the school reference form and return it to Gesu School.
- Please forward your child’s standardized test scores and copies of their most recent report card to Gesu School with your application.
