The Gesu Athletic Program has a long standing tradition of offering children of
the parish many opportunities to develop their athletic skills, learn good sportsmanship,
and experience the fun of teamwork. Younger boys and girls learn the fundamentals of many
sports by participating in clinics and joining the many intramural teams coached by Gesu
parents. Students in Grades 4 -8 participate on CYO league teams and meet competition from
schools all over the city of Cleveland.

Gesu Boosters Board usually meets on the 1st THURSDAY of each month in
either the Loyola Room or the Xavier Room in the Religious Education
Center.. The Board provides the resources and
leadership needed to continue the tradition of Gesu's outstanding sports
program. The Board publishes a yearly handbook for parents explaining
the policies and procedures of the Gesu Sports Program. It is
distributed to each family at the beginning of the school year.
