The Gesu Parent Handbook states that:

"Leather or suede shoes are acceptable in brown, tan, black, navy blue or red with heels that do not exceed 1 inch.  Shoe style should be appropriate for school wear, such as oxford-style tie, penny-loafer styles or saddle shoes.  Shoes should not have the appearance of  athletic shoes and with the exception of saddle shoes, should be one color.  Athletic shoes in any color or materials, sandals, boots, high tops (anything above the ankle), work shoes, cowboy boots, or any type of canvas or corduroy shoes are NOT acceptable.  For safety reasons, clogs are not permitted.  Shoes must have closed heels - sling back styles are not acceptable."

Can you tell why these shoes do not meet the uniform guidelines for Gesu School?
Please try to avoid these styles when you shop for school shoes.
