2011-2012

Students in Grades 3-8 celebrate a school liturgy each Friday morning at 8:30 AM.  Each week one class takes the responsibility for proclaiming the daily readings and offering petitions on behalf of the school and parish community.  Music is directed by Mr. Mark Ehrbar with the assistance of Mrs. Schetter, Mrs. Pokorny and the Liturgical Music Club.

There are also a number of special celebrations which involve the entire school.

These are scheduled for:

• Friday, October 7th                       Feast of the Holy Rosary
• Thursday, December 8th             Feast of the Immaculate Conception
• Friday, February 3rd                     Catholic Schools Week
• Wednesday, February 22nd        Ash Wednesday
• Friday, April 20th                            Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha’s birthday/Earth Day
• Friday, May 18th                             May Crowning following liturgy
• Tuesday, May 22nd                       Closing Mass of the School Year

Families and friends are always welcome to join us for these celebrations.  Occasionally the Gesu P.T.O. offers hospitality at the entrance of the Church after the liturgies.
